Impact begins with small, meaningful steps ✨

A few months ago, we set out on a mission to empower women through skill — and we’re proud to share that we recently completed training the first cohort of our tailoring program with Akili Foundation in Nandi County. 

On 24th May 2025, the 1st cohort of beneficiaries from the Zia Africa and A-Kili Foundation partnership proudly received their Tailoring and Dressmaking Certificates—marking a significant milestone in their journey toward economic independence and self-reliance.

This collaboration between Zia Africa and the A-Kili Foundation is rooted in our shared commitment to empowering young people—particularly women—with practical vocational skills that open doors to meaningful employment and entrepreneurship.

We are immensely proud to announce that four graduates from this inaugural class have already been offered employment by Zia Africa, a testament to the quality of training and the life-changing opportunities that arise from such partnerships.
