FABRIC DESCRIPTION AND CARE

This is made with the Sherpa Fabric. A heavy-weight fabric that is luxuriously soft, it has good density and provides loving warmth, thanks to the thick pile that feels and resembles sheep wool. Sherpa fabric is made of a blend of acrylic and polyester.

Shake Off Dirt and Debris

Begin the cleaning process by giving your sherpa jacket a gentle shake to remove any loose dirt or debris. This step will prevent these particles from becoming embedded during the washing process.

Turn the Jacket Inside Out

To protect the outer surface of your sherpa jacket, turn it inside out before washing. This simple step minimizes the wear and tear on the exterior fabric and preserves its appearance.

Set the Washing Machine

For a safe and effective wash, set your washing machine to a gentle or delicate cycle. Use cold water to prevent any shrinkage or color fading. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as they can harm the sherpa material.

Select a Slow Spin Cycle

This reduces the stress on the fabric and minimizes the chances of it getting damaged during the wash.

Air Dry Only

Avoid using a dryer, as the high heat can cause the sherpa material to become matted or lose its softness. Instead, lay your jacket flat on a clean surface, and gently reshape it to its original form. Allow it to air dry naturally.
